Project Overview and UX Teams involvement
The primary objective was to enhance the overall efficiency of the company's Return Material Authorization process, which encompasses all post-sales activities. This complex process involves multiple geographies and legal entities. To improve efficiency, we first identified the main issues and then developed solutions.
UX team was entrusted to provide the solution and help the team build the solution while being part of the engineering team. We set up a team with varying loading with the size peaking at 8 members including Principal Consultant, Researchers, UX Designers and UI Designers.

Since this was a fairly complex project, had a very diverse set user groups and process happening in very different environments and places a detailed research strategy had to be put in place. Considering the large volume of qualitative data to be generated, tools had to be identified and procured first
